Positive: If you are looking for full relax in very quiet area and as a big bonus with great view and not very populated beach - than totally recommend to visit Oniroi. In front of the house there is "rocky" beach - prefect for good morning wake me ups! Or even for the hole day if that is ok for you. A few meters away there is fantastic tavern (very quiet and with delicious food) and more sandy/pebbly like beach . The apartment is very clean, nice modern furnished and the host was very informative and provide us the whole needed information on time . Highly recommended ! I wish i will come back again. I love Pelion and this place is know in my favorite palaces on the peninsula. pp. I am attaching picture with the view from the beach to the house. The first couple of buildings with big pink bush in front is the tavern. In the next couple of buildings is where the apartment is located. :) You just have to roll over from the bed to the beach and after the dinner the same exercise from the tavern to the house :) Totally jealous of all of you :)
Negative: I will just want to point here not necessary the negatives but a few remarks so future guest to be prepared and not to be disappointed due to some "struggles" :). 1. Be prepared that the place is "in the middle of nowhere" ( in a good way) so the traveling form Volos will take time and road is going troughs the Mount Pelion aka a lot of u turns .Very beautiful though ! At last couple of km the road is not in perfect condition but it is accessible even by regular car. 2. The apartment is compact so I find this accommodation better suited for two people . 3. There is very nice small kitchen in the place so if you prefer to cook or to make good Greek salad to accompany your tsipuro /ouzo/wine enjoying the view and listening to the sounds of the sea like we do :) - prepare with your groceries in advance! The closest market is in Pouri but is not very well stocked ( it is ok , but is very small) and the ones in Zagori are on 30/35 min away . 4. If you would like to visit Chorefto it will be better if your car is higher otherwise could be stressful . There is a market too. Or if trekking is your thing it is about 40/45 min away by foot.
